Hi Sherif, fabulous idea! What I find fascinating is that this thinking is as one across the world, and as time passes, its is believed to continue to appear as a one effort. However, I realize our current reality on the planet is still divided both culturally and physically; we don't know when and if our planet will become more unified. Perhaps having several sites, each having an obvious link to the whole (as one) is an interesting spin. Future generations would perhaps see we were thinking as one yet addressing the many we were at this time. For future generations, we would demonstrate even with our divides across the planet we were inspired to act as one.
Multiple locations sounds like a great idea. It could take us even to a virtual pyramid... something close to the wikipedia... I think the Pyramid has that physical aspect to it that fascinates us and defies time... someone said that man fears time but time fears the Pyramids!
As we are living the Chinese century, perhaps we should think about China as being a good venue for at least one of the Pyramids. Maybe they would be interested in building something for the future to redeem the losses brought about by the destruction of many of their ancient relics during the cultural revolution. They have the technology (demonstrated by their super-Olympic show) and financial wherewithal to fund such a project. Just a thought!
