Sherif Danish - Bio

Dr. Sherif Danish is the initiator of the Pyramid of the World project. He is an Egyptian American IT consultant and entrepreneur residing in California. He holds several patents and his focus is on Internet technologies. Sherif has a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Cairo University and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Paris VII. He started several technology companies in the US, France, and Egypt.

Sherif dreamed of the Pyramid of the World in the mid 1990s and wanted to inaugurate it on Friday December 31st, 1999 at midnight. That instant was the end of a work week, a month, a year, a decade, a century, and a millennium! It is the amazing advancement of the Internet that allowed him, though social networking, to launch the Pyramid of the World project and gather momentum of supporters and contributors.
